🌟 Edmonton Lights Up the Night for Shelter & Hope

On October 23, Edmonton’s heartbeat pulsed a little brighter.
Royal LePage Noralta, together with hundreds of passionate walkers, community leaders, and volunteers, hosted the Night Light Walk 2025, a 3KM lantern-lit evening dedicated to supporting women and children experiencing intimate partner violence.
This event wasn’t just about fundraising. It was a movement. A message of connection, healing, and solidarity.

💜 What is the Night Light Walk?

The Night Light Walk is a nationwide Royal LePage Shelter Foundation initiative that unites communities beneath the stars to raise both funds and awareness for those rebuilding their lives after violence.
Edmonton was one of just twelve cities chosen to host, and we showed up in unforgettable style.

💡 Why It Matters

  • 1 in 4 Canadian women experiences intimate partner violence.
  • Every dollar raised stays local, directly supporting WIN House, and La Salle Shelter.
  • Healing takes community. Standing together, step by illuminated step.

🕯 Event Highlights

Over 275 walkers and volunteers gathered at Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park.
Lanterns, laughter, and music filled the streets as Edmonton came together for hope and healing.

Highlights included:

  • Inspiring speeches from community ambassadors and Shelter Foundation leaders.
  • Special thanks to presenting sponsor TD and the many volunteers who made it possible.
  • Red toques, LED bracelets, and bright spirits lighting up the night.
